Sweet Street Nursery
Whimsical Nursery Interior Design
Welcome to Ellie’s block, where a touch of Upper West Side magic was brought into a Bergen County, New Jersey home and reimagined for the tiniest resident.
Designed to feel whimsical yet calm, this nursery layers storytelling with function in a way that feels both playful and intentional.
A custom “little town” mural of tiny townhouses under a moonlit sky sets the scene, creating a miniature neighborhood with just enough city charm to make the room feel like its own little world. Within the streetscape, a baby monitor camera is quietly concealed, proof that even the most practical details can become part of the design.
That balance between imagination and everyday function carries throughout the nursery. Rather than letting technology interrupt the story, it disappears into it, leaving the little town and its moonlit skyline to set the mood.
The result is a nursery that feels like a storybook come to life, soft and serene with just the right hint of the city tucked inside. It is a peaceful place for sleeping, dreaming, and growing, with a little Upper West Side magic never too far away.
