The Bubble Box
Color Drenched Bathroom Design
When color is treated like couture, it can feel both daring and serene.
Drenched in a deep, high-gloss blue sheen, the Bubble Box transforms this Bergen County bathroom into an immersive, mirror-like escape where walls, ceiling, and steam dissolve into a single continuous, reflective moment.
With its polished lacquered finish and enveloping tone, the room becomes an experience as much as a design, where surface and atmosphere blur to create a feeling of total immersion. Carrying the saturated blue across the room allows light and reflection to become part of the palette, shifting the character of the space as you move through it.
Rather than relying on layers of pattern or competing finishes, this bathroom lets one dramatic color take command. The high-gloss treatment gives that simplicity depth, creating a space that feels cocooning without feeling heavy.
Playful yet refined, the Bubble Box proves that when color is treated like couture, it can feel both daring and serene, bold in impact, yet beautifully controlled in execution.
