Polly’s Penthouse
Whimsical Girl’s Bedroom Interior Design
A love letter to every girl who dreamed of living inside a Polly Pocket.
Filled with whimsy, nostalgia, secret storage, durable performance fabrics, interchangeable rechargeable sconces, and treasured hand-me-down pieces from her big sister’s room and Mom’s own nursery, every corner is layered with personality, practicality, and pockets of joy.
Nothing here is whimsical simply for whimsy’s sake. Clever storage makes room for real life, performance fabrics stand up to childhood, and lighting can change along with the room. Mixed with pieces that already have a family story, those practical choices give the bedroom a sense of history as well as plenty of room for what comes next.
Designed to grow with its owner while celebrating the stories already woven into her family, this New Jersey girl’s bedroom proves that the most magical spaces aren’t built from scratch, they’re built from memories.
Old favorites and new ideas live comfortably together, creating a room that feels collected rather than simply decorated. Because a little girl’s bedroom should feel like stepping inside a real-life Polly Pocket dream, while still being ready for everything that happens after playtime.
