Crystal Cut Kitchen

Open Concept Kitchen Interior Design

The lighting acts as both jewelry and architecture.

In this open-concept Bergen County kitchen, faceted jewel pendants from Schonbek were selected as sculptural focal points, cutting through the sea of white with prismatic light and introducing an instant layer of retro glamour.

The lighting acts as both jewelry and architecture, refracting color and glow across the space while helping define distinct zones within the larger layout. Kitchen, dining, and living each gain their own moment to shine, subtly separated through atmosphere rather than walls.

That distinction is especially important in an open-concept interior, where each space needs its own identity while still feeling connected to the whole. Here, light provides the visual rhythm, drawing the eye through the kitchen and into the adjoining spaces without interrupting the flow.

The result is a cohesive yet layered interior where glamorous lighting becomes the organizing principle, bringing clarity, rhythm, and a touch of vintage drama to the entire open-plan experience.
