The Treasured Guest
English Garden Bedroom Interior Design
Designed as the home’s “look, don’t touch” room, this serene blue guest suite became the perfect place to showcase its most treasured heirlooms, including an original artwork by HRH King Charles III.
Whimsical plate wallpaper by Michael Evert x fallingstar dreamily lines the ceiling, while botanical details and soft blue hues evoke the charm of an English garden. Rather than treating the collected pieces as accents added after the fact, the room was designed around them, giving each treasure a place to feel naturally at home.
That sense of history gives the bedroom its character, while the softer palette and playful pattern keep the space from feeling overly formal. Old-world English influence is reinterpreted with a lighter touch, creating a guest room that feels collected, personal, and quietly whimsical.
The result is a room where every detail was thoughtfully chosen to complement the artwork and heirlooms, creating a setting as timeless as the treasures it holds.
