Brooklyn Brownstone Bath
Historic Bathroom Renovation
Pre-war details too beautiful to ignore, so we didn’t.
This Brooklyn brownstone renovation came with pre-war details too beautiful to ignore, so we didn’t. Inspired by the home’s showstopping green marble fireplace, we carried its rich emerald tones into a bathroom and laundry room that feels equal parts polished and livable.
The original architecture provided the perfect starting point for a design that could feel both luxurious and inviting. Rich color, classic materials, and sculptural details bring a sense of drama to these hardworking spaces without losing the warmth and character of the historic home.
Glossy emerald tile, warm brass hardware, marble countertops, and a sculptural green pendant create a layered, jewel-toned palette that honors the home’s historic character while bringing beauty to everyday function. The result is a historic Brooklyn bathroom renovation where thoughtful design turns everyday spaces into something worth lingering in.
